What does it really mean to be fully invested?

Fully invested players show up to class on time. They understand accountability is not a sometimes thing.

Fully invested players don’t need to be told to stay engaged on the bench. They cheer for their teammates because they genuinely care about them.

Fully invested players respond with maturity when things don’t go their way. They know their team needs them no matter what.

Fully invested players don’t have a lot of time to talk to their opponents or officials. They are too locked in to what their teammates need.

Fully invested players touch the line every time. They understand how much the simple things matter.

Fully invested players can handle failure. They recognize the value is in the process, not the result.

Fully invested players can handle success. They recognize the scoreboard doesn’t dictate who they are as much as what they do every day.

Fully invested players love the tough drills in practice. They embrace the hard stuff.

Fully invested players see sprints as a chance to get better. They are too mentally tough to just get through it.

Fully invested players mentally prepare for practice every day. It’s reckless to let a day go to waste.

Fully invested players make sure their teammates are on time and ready to go. Not everyone prepares themselves the same way.
